You’re spot on about some agencies just issuing a list of SEO recommendations for the client to fix.

I sat in an SEO pitch before Christmas and it was clear one of the competing agencies operated like this.

The prospective client seemed overly eager to ensure that we’d be the ones actually rewriting the page titles and meta descriptions, and not simply handballing that task to the client.
