We use a combination of Facebook, Twitter and Google ads.

Yeah, we’ve tested LinkedIn ads but never gotten it to work because costs are prohibitive to use it for content promotion

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Given that community promotion isn’t as effective anymore, what is your current approach to boost short-term traffic from corporate executives? Would you use Facebook, LinkedIn or another platform? Because I can imagine it’s hard to identify these executives on Facebook, so LinkedIn would be a better place – but LinkedIn CPCs are freakin’ high.
