Background
We’re a content marketing agency that fully takes over and manages company blogs. We primarily work with B2B companies and this role will be managing the content strategy, publishing schedule and working with our freelance writers to produce high-quality content to publish on our clients’ sites.
Responsibilities
- You’ll be responsible for coming up with content ideas that will attract customers for the various clients we work with (mostly B2B SaaS and service companies)
- You’ll own producing the pieces of written content from idea to publish-ready state
- You’ll work with our team of freelance writers to produce content, and you’ll own coming up with the angle of the piece, providing direction to the writers and copy editing to make sure the articles meet the quality standards set forth
- You’ll maintain the content calendar for all of our clients (3 articles per month, per client)
- Interview sources for stories that we produce alongside the writer
- You’ll need to have some keyword research skills or be willing to learn how to come up with content ideas that can grow SEO traffic
Ideal Experience (Best if you have at least 3)
- You’ve managed and grown a blog
- You’ve managed a team of writers
- You have some working knowledge of SEO
- You’ve worked in marketing and/or are familiar with business concepts such as LTV, CAC, etc.
- You’re familiar with content marketing and have led a content strategy before
- You’ve worked in B2B businesses
- You understand the differences between top, middle and bottom of the funnel pieces of content
