B2B SaaS GEO agency

How we get AI to recommend your B2B software when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and AI Overviews

Your buyers don’t type “best project management software” anymore. They describe their pain points, budget, and questions, and LLMs recommend solutions personalized to that specific user.

Our AI search strategy

How GEO is different than SEO: personalization

AI answers are personalized to each buyer’s conversation. Winning brand recommendations requires producing content that matches each customer type, use case and pain point.

The shift

Buyers don’t search with keywords

Prompts are long and shaped by everything the buyer has already told AI, so there’s no search volume to target. We write content around the high-intent pain points, questions and use cases for your product, so you get recommended when your customers search for solutions in LLMs.

How the engagement works

How a B2B SaaS engagement works

Phase 1

Research and foundation

  • Customer research

We interview your sales and product teams to map exactly who your best customers are and what problems they face.

  • Topic ideation

We identify the pain points your best customers search for and the specific scenarios where you’re the perfect fit.

  • Content production

We begin creating content that addresses those exact scenarios, so both Google and LLMs find you.

  • Analytics setup

We build always-on reports on your rankings and traffic, and set up conversion reporting in GA4, Looker, HubSpot or whatever BI tool you use.

  • Technical SEO

We do a technical audit and make sure your site is free of technical errors and well structured for both LLMs and Google.

Phase 2

Scale and measure

  • Content production

Consistent creation of scenario-specific content that addresses buyer problems and situations.

  • Link building

We build authority for your scenario-focused content so it ranks and gets cited.

  • Citation outreach

We amplify your positioning across the third-party sources LLMs already trust in your category.

  • Measurement

We track where you appear in Google, where LLMs recommend you, and which scenarios drive qualified leads.

Fit / not a fit

Who we work best with

We’re a fit when

  • You have proven product/market fit.
  • You have another sales or marketing channel already driving leads for the business.
  • Your sales and product teams can give us time for interviews.
  • You understand that AEO/GEO takes time before recommendations and leads come from the channel.

We’re not a fit when

  • Your business is pre-launch.
  • You don’t have any other marketing or sales efforts supporting the business.
  • You’re pivoting product, target customer or positioning.

FAQ

Questions we get from SaaS marketers

How long until a B2B SaaS brand gets mentioned in ChatGPT (or other LLMs)?

We can start seeing brand recommendations within the first few months, but 3 to 6 months is typical for most clients. It depends on how much marketing you’ve already done.

Which AI engines matter most for B2B SaaS buyers?

From what we see, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Claude are the top 3 for B2B SaaS. However, we track mentions across Perplexity, Gemini and AI Mode as well.

Do G2 and Capterra matter for AI search?

They can, especially for SaaS businesses, but how much depends on your category. Before we get started, we’ll analyze how much those platforms influence the citations for the topics you care about.

Do we need GEO and SEO, or just one?

Both. When buyers ask for software recommendations, LLMs search the web to build their answer. Our strategies will help you both rank in Google and show up across the most important LLMs.

How do you measure results?

For AI visibility, we use our own AI visibility tool called Traqer.ai. It tells you how often you’re mentioned across topics and all of the LLMs that matter. For leads, we use HubSpot, Looker, GA4, self-reported attribution and custom reports in various BI tools.

Can a smaller SaaS company compete with the big incumbents?

Yes, we’ve proven this out many times. For example, Toro TMS was a new company when we started working with them, and AI now recommends them for 75% of the topics they care about.
